Practice Schedule Information
As indicated at the linked Practice Schedule page, each World Series team has been scheduled to practice once a day for 90 minutes throughout Pool Play (August 13th through 17th), regardless of whether or not the team has a game.
It is important to note that World Series teams have NO OBLIGATION to use their allotted practice slot.
Importantly, a representative from the host team will be on hand on August 13th at the coaches breakfast to assist you with specific questions or needs relating to practice.
It is possible that coaches may wish to "trade" time slots with other coaches based on individual teams' needs or preferences. If you do make a trade, you must provide information regarding the trade(s), if any, to the representative from the host team who will be present at the coaches' breakfast.
Further, please note that Winchester has secured a limited amount of open field space at different times and different locations than those provided on the World Series practice schedule. If you wish to utilize one of the open time slots, you must communicate your request to the host team representative at the coaches breakfast on Wednesday, June 13th.
Separate and distinct from practice time slots, please note that World Series teams will also have two hours before each of their games to use Nutile Field A and the Nutile Field outdoor batting cages.
Finally, in the event you wish to take advantage of a local indoor cage (a fee is charged for "tunnel" time) for batting practice, extra practice, or other side work, we recommend you contact Extra Innings via telephone (781-935-2256). Extra Innings is located at 10 Micro Drive in the neighboring town of Woburn, Massachusetts.
